Custom Requests, Contract Fields Custom, Contracts,
 &  Conversions

We receive a large amount of request to customize certain aspects of the Book-It2000 system. Custom requests are handled on a ‘first-come’ -‘first serve’ basis.

Custom Fields on The Contract Screen:
Custom fields on the contract screen are anticipated by us, so we have prepared a ‘pop-up’ screen just for that purpose. There is no charge for this service! In order to take advantage of that screen the following is required:

• Outline of what fields that you want.
• How long each field should be
• Any specific edits that you may require.

Important: If any of the information from the custom fields are going to be printed on the  contract,    then you need to do this step first, before sending in your custom  contract. 

CUSTOM CONTRACTS

Custom contracts can be created that will use your logo, and print in whatever style that you choose. There is a $ 89.00 fee for this service, which must be paid for at the time the contract is requested. To request a custom contract, we require the following from you:

• A blank layout of the contract that you want us to print.
• An explanation of the fields on the contract. Illustrate where and what fields that you want on the contract, using fields from the Book-It2000 system.
• Logo need to be in BMP format. If EBT is required to scan a logo from existing art work, additional charges will apply for ‘cleaning-up’ the art work.
• One contract that has as much detailed, actual (or ‘live’) information as possible.

It takes 10 working days from the time that we receive the contract, until the time that we ship the contract back to you for review. You have thirty days from the time that you receive your custom contracts back, to determine if revisions or corrections are needed.

Completing Custom Contract Review Process.
Once you receive the contract back from EBT, you need to carefully review the printing of the contract and all details. Mark any changes and clarify any corrections that need to be made.

• Fax or mail the changes back to EBT. EBT will make the corrections specified.
• There is one final review period, in which corrections can be made at no cost.
• As in Step#1, review and document the changes that need to be made. Send the final draft to EBT.
• No more than 30 days, from the time that EBT sends you the original draft of the contract, through to Step #4 should elapse.
• Any changes after the 30 day period -or- additional drafts (after the two draft revision periods outlined in these steps) will be charged at the EBT Maintenance Support rate.

CONVERSIONS

At times, we are requested to convert data from different databases to Book-It2000. What we need from you in order to accomplish a successful conversion is:

• The database. The format of the database if you know it.
• Assistance in ‘mapping’ the fields on the old database to the ones in Book-It2000

There is a base fee of $ 250.00, per module. Conversion time requires up to 20 working days, from the time that we receive your data. If we don’t have sufficient information from you, or cannot get the answers that we need, the conversion process can take much longer.
