Spawning is the ability to put a contract in one time and then have it reproduce for any length of time.  Let's say that you have an artist that has a gig every Thursday for eight weeks at some club.  Then what Book-It 2000 can have you do is put in the contract one time, with the date range spanning the eight weeks, and then by doing three extra steps (which are listed below) regenerate eight contracts with the same information at the same time.

Which means that if you have a gig for eight weeks all on a Thursday then Book-It 2000 would generate a contract for every Thursday of the eight weeks.  No matter what day it is even if it is more than one day such as it is on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Book-It 2000 can still generate the contract for that time with you only having to put in ONE contract.

There are only Three steps that you have to do to have Book-It 2000 SPAWN.

How to get Spawning to work:

1) Add a contract like you normally would.  If you do not know how to do this go to --

2) Then where it has Tour Number on the Main Info screen under Artist Date and Time type in: SPAWN

3) After that go to the Buy/Sell screen. In the center of the page where it says 'Spred Freq.' and 'Days' is where you finish the SPAWNING process.

For the Spred Freq. There is 'W' for Weekly, 'P' for Perpetual, 'M' for Monthly.  And then for the Days are on what days that the contract needs to be SPAWNED.

For example if your artist has the same gig every Tuesday night every week for six weeks then you would make the date range for six weeks.  Starting on the Sunday before the Tuesday of the gig and then ending it on the Saturday after the Tuesday of the gig. 

Then you would go to the Spred Freq and place a 'W' in for Weekly.  Then where it says 'Days' you would place a 'TU' in for Tuesday.  Then you would add the contract and Book-It 2000 will then produce six contracts for every Tuesday of the date range entered.

Same would go if it is Monthly.  You would place a 'M' in 'Spred Freq.' and then in 'Days' you would place whatever day it is, or you can leave it blank and for every month that is included in your date range Book-It 2000 will generate a contract.
