I've Installed
a Download and it doesn't Appear to be Working
Sometimes after you
have downloaded an update or fix it appears as though the program isn't
working correctly. To make sure that everything is in sync and correct
follow the instructions below.

Go to Start. |

| 2.

Go to Run. |
|

| 3. |
In the white
box that says Open type in: c:\windows\bk2.ini
- if that doesn't open a notepad then type in: c:\winnt\bk2.ini
If you get an error that says: Not A Vaild Win32 Application - click
here. |

A Notepad/wordpad
should appear. |
| 5.
|
Look at the
User Path to Program and make sure it reads C:\EBT\BK2K\
- make sure the end '\' is present. |
|

Look at the
User Path to Data and make sure it read something like: G:\EBT\BK2K\
- make sure the end '\' is present. - If it is not then type in a '\' at
the end. |

If that is
correct then copy the User Path to Program. - C:\ebt\bk2k\ |
|

Go to
MyComputer or Windows Explorer. |
| 9. |
In the
Address box paste C:\ebt\bk2k\ |
|

Then press
the Go button - It is located on the right of the Address box. |
| 11. |
In the right
hand box the contents of the Bk2k folder should appear. |
| 12. |
Find the
Bk2.exe and right click on it. |
|

Scroll down
and click on Properties. |
|

| 14. |
The
Properties box will appear. |
|

| 15. |
Click on the
Version Tab. |
|

| 16. |
Write down
the Version number - make sure that this number is what the correct
version number should be. If it is not then the Install did not
install. Install again. If it is correct go to your desktop. |

Right Click
on the Bk2.exe icon. |
|

| 18. |
Click on
Properties. |
|

|
| 19. |
Go to the
Version Tab. |
|

| 20. |
Look at the
Version number. If it does not match the version number of the
previous Bk2.exe then delete it. |
| 21. |
Go to
MyComputer or Windows Explorer. |
| 22. |
In the
Address box paste C:\ebt\bk2k\ |
|

Then press
the Go button - It is located on the right of the Address box. |
| 24. |
In the right
hand box the contents of the Bk2k folder should appear. |
| 25. |
Find the
Bk2.exe and right click on it. |

Click on
Send To |
| 27. |
Click on
Desktop (create shortcut) |
|
