How to Use Book-It 2000's Communication Station (CS)

Learning Guide to Overview, Projects/Date Tracker, Communication, Calendar / Things to Do, and Global Names Table.
Also includes: How to Call/Follow Up Notes, Email, Write a Letter, Navigation,
and icons for the Communication Station.

 

Overview 
The Overview shows all  of what you can do with the CS.  It displays: Things to Do/People to Contact, Calendar, Global Contacts, and Messages From.  The Communication Station allows you to track every part of your administrative work.  Each How To is listed below.

Messages and Sticky Notes

Icons

 

1.   click on to show the screen for Things to Do/People to Contact
2.   click on to show the screen for Emails that have been sent out
3.   click on to show the screen for Global Contacts that are in the system.
4.   click on to show the screen for Phone Messages that have been left for you.
 

 

Things to Do/ People to Contact - Click Here for the Learning Guide to Things to Do.

1.   All of your Things to Do is listed with the Who to Contact, Subject, Company Name, Telephone, and Status.
2.   If you double click on any of the names in the list a Call/Follow Up box will appear.  In the Call/Follow Up box you will get information such as: Who, Company Name, Email, Subject, Notes, Status selection, Date to Follow Up, Category, and a Reminder check box. 

Any Information listed in the box can be changed.  To save information changed click on the Disk icon on the right hand side. 
If you wish to cancel click on the trash can.

3.   By right clicking on any record you can:  Call/Follow Up Notes, Email, Write a Letter, or Go to Main Record.
 

 

Calendar - Click Here for the Learning Guide to Calendar

1.   Calendar defaults to today's date.
2.   If you wish to see another date the arrows on either side of the Month will take you to the month.
3.   Click on the arrow next to the Year and choose the correct year.
 

 

Global Contact

1.   The Global Contact table displays every name from your module.
2.   To search there are three ways to do it: Category, Region/State, and Module.
3.   Once you've entered in your criteria click on the Re-query button.
4.   In the list you can do any of the following by right clicking: Call/Follow Up Notes, Email, Write a Letter, or Go to Main Record.
 

 

Messages and Sticky Notes - Click Here for the Learning Guide to Calendar

1.   Messages are displayed in the right hand corner.
2.   To add phone messages click on Communication.
3.   Sticky notes are like the real yellow ones you have on your desk. 
To place them on your PC click on the white box with a yellow sticky note. 
You can write whatever you want by double clicking on the yellow pad.
To  place the note anywhere by clicking on it and moving it.
The Bell icon is a reminder, _ is to minimize X is to close

1.   Right Click on any record.
2.   Choose Call/Follow Up Notes
